In order to find what is blocking you and where, we strongly recommend running the TraceRT utility under windows or linux.
To run it on windows go to START->RUN on RUN type in CMD to bring the DOS Command Prompt (a black command line thing). On the DOS prompt type in "tracert maiahost.com". Note that you should replace maiahost.com with your actual domain name!! The result should be similar to the following: Microsoft Windows [Version 5.2.3790] (C) Copyright 1985-2003 Microsoft Corp. E:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>tracert maiahost.com Tracing route to maiahost.com [65.60.33.230] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.0.1 2 <1 ms 1 ms <1 ms h-66-167-185-185.nycmny83.static.covad.net [66.167.185.185] 3 6 ms 5 ms 5 ms 172.22.0.1 4 6 ms 5 ms 5 ms 192.168.13.69 5 5 ms 5 ms 8 ms paix-nyc.xe-4-3-0.cr1.nyc3.us.nlayer.net [198.32.118.77] 6 44 ms 33 ms 35 ms ae0-50g.cr1.nyc2.us.nlayer.net [69.31.95.122] 7 42 ms 27 ms 27 ms xe-3-2-0.cr2.ord1.us.nlayer.net [69.22.142.85] 8 28 ms 27 ms 31 ms po2-30g.ar1.ord1.us.nlayer.net [69.31.111.138] 9 27 ms 28 ms 28 ms as32475.te8-2-1101.ar1.ord1.us.nlayer.net [69.31.111.94] 10 28 ms 28 ms 28 ms asw-c23.r01.ord02.singlehop.net [67.212.191.154] 11 29 ms 28 ms 28 ms maiahost.com [65.60.33.230] Trace complete. Please copy this text by clicking Right Click then Mark. Then mark all the text left to right or vise versa and send it in the ticket or email message where we request it. That should give us enough information on where you are being blocked. It may be due to firewall rule or hardware issue. Note that the result should be showing which route your internet is using to access our servers. The one shown above is the route from our New York office to our Data Center in Chicago, IL. Also note that the first two results that show 1ms are LOCAL AREA network. and the ones that show SINGLEHOP.NET are our data center ones. The Maiahost Management. |
